Each Refill Kit makes 2 batches, approximately 20 x 65g/2.3oz. bars (1.4kg/3.1lbs.) of soap. Contains 2 bottles of pre-measured and pre-weighed blended oils. As these refill kits come without the lye, please consider purchasing our digital scale as well. These kits come without lye as we cannot send lye through the mail as it is considered a dangerous good. Lye, however, is a necessary ingredient in soapmaking so you will need to purchase it (available at most hardware stores) before making your soap. Purchase only 100% lye as your soap will not turn out if you use anything else. If you would still like these kits sent with lye give us a call as they only way we can send them is via Purolator and we would have to call them and get a quote. This is only an option in Canada, lye cannot be sent to the US or overseas at all. Please see the about us section for more details.
